Founded by Abbas Mohamed Al Hasan, a pioneer in trade, who began honing his business skills as a pharmaceutical salesman since the 1940s.

After gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills in India, one of the Gulf's main trading partners, Al Hasan returned to Bahrain as one of its first certified opticians who was eager to practice his expertise and serve his community.

In 1972, he founded New Optical House that specialized in offering only the highest quality eye care products and services.

Facilitated by Al Hasan's broad background education and profound experience, The New Optical House was later renamed Bahrain Optician Company WLL. The new proactive company emerged as the ultimate provider for eye care services and solutions and continued to grab market share from its competitors.

Led and managed by Managing Director, Mohamed Al Hasan, Bahrain Optician evolved to be among the best-known brands in Bahrain and has rapidly expanded, both locally and in the regional markets.
